Tokina Cinema Legacy Lenses
Starting in 2009, Duclos Lenses created a Cine-Mod 11-16 f/2.8 photography zoom lens. With their modifications, it allowed users to have full, manual control over the iris, zoom and focus mechanisms.

In 2014, Tokina brought this lens to mass-production and introduced it as Tokina Cinema’s first lens, the 11-16mm T3.0 AT-X. This lens was made available in Arri PL, Canon EF, Sony E, Micro Four Thirds, and Nikon F mount variants and was able to cover Super35 sensors with full resolution.

11-16mm T3.0 ATX MKI
The 11-16mm was manufactured in two versions. The MKI version featured yellow and red color focus marks with a 77mm filter thread. This lens did not have interchangeable mounts.

11-16mm T3.0 ATX MKII
The MKII version of the 11-16mm featured a larger 82mm filter thread to reduce the chance for the focus mechanism binding if a clamp-on matte box was used. This lens also did not have interchangeable mounts.
Both versions of the 11-16mm lens were replaced by the best-selling 11-20mm T2.9 lens with interchangeable mounts with four different types; Arri PL, Canon EF, Sony E, Micro Four Thirds, and Nikon F. You can read more about this lens here.

16-28mm T3.0 MKI + 50-135mm T3.0 MKI
Tokina Cinema later designed and released the 16-28mm T3.0 AT-X Full Frame and 50-135mm T3.0 AT-X super35. Both lenses did not have interchangeable mounts. They were available in Arri PL, Canon EF, Sony E, Micro Four Thirds, and Nikon F mount. Tokina Cinema has since released the newest iterations of these lenses in the MKII versions. You can read more about the 16-28mm MKII T3.0 lens here and the 50-135mm MKII T2.9 lens here.

Vista One
Vista One prime lenses were originally intended as a limited edition series of our popular Vista prime lenses, offered in the 18, 25, 35, 50, 85, 105, and 135mm focal lengths. The Vista One prime lenses feature a single-coated front element which gives the image a characteristically blue flare and vintage look. Only a limited number of Vista One sets were manufactured and have been sold out as of December 2021, becoming discontinued as a result. You can read more about these lenses here.
All Tokina Cinema legacy lenses have now been discontinued and replaced with newer models featuring mechanical improvements, range, or sensor coverage.
